Coach Duncan on Brockman: “Jeni is our one Kentucky high school holdover from last season. She’ll be a big part of our outside hitting, as probably one of our two tandems on the outside. What I like about her is her aggressiveness. That is something we will need in ‘98.”
Career Highlights: Jeni played in all but one Colonel match last season as a freshman...she was fourth on the team in kills (102) and attempts (402), fifth in block assists (20) and sixth in aces (17) and digs (162)...Brockman’s best match of 1997 came on November 7, 1997 at Middle Tennessee, hitting .429 and recording two assists and 11 digs in that game...graduate of St. Henry High School...named first-team all-state and all-region 9 as a senior...led St. Henry in kills and aces and voted team MVP.
