The Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team opened the 2000 season this weekend at the Mortar Board Purdue Premier in West Lafayette, IN, with a rocky start.
The Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team has been picked to finish fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) in the pre-season poll of the league's head coaches.
Upping its season-win total by 10 this season, Eastern Kentucky University's volleyball team closed its 1999 year with a hard-fought first-round Ohio Valley Conference Tournament loss to Austin Peay, 3-1.
Eastern Kentucky University junior outside hitter Courtney Bowen and freshman outside hitter Becky Galati received recognition on the All-Ohio Valley Conference teams for 1999.
